SUMMARY:Repair Cafe Session - 21st October 2023
DESCRIPTION:We offer a repair service for portable household items of a mec
 hanical\, electrical or ceramic nature\, tool sharpening and simple sewing
  and clothing repairs. We can also advise on repair options for wooden fur
 niture\, providing it is hand-portable and you can transport it to Dinedor
  Village Hall yourself.\n\n\n\n\nTo control the number of people arriving 
 together outside the hall advance booking is essential. The first slot is 
 from 10.00 to 10:30 and the last from 12 noon to 12:30pm.  We need to com
 plete all repairs by 12:30\, as we will need half an hour to clear and cle
 an the hall.\n\n\n\nHygiene.  Items should be cleaned as far as possible.
   Clothing items must be washed or dry-cleaned before you bring them to u
 s.\n\n\n\nPlease bring your item to our reception desk in our main hall. W
 e will then allocate it to the most appropriate repairer.\n\n\n\nThere wil
 l be a small café operating in the hall.  You can wait here and enjoy re
 freshments if you wish or you may leave and we will contact you by phone w
 hen your item is ready for collection.  Provided the repairer also consen
 ts\, you may sit with the repairer while the item is being examined and re
 paired.\n\n\n\nIf you leave the hall please keep your mobile phone with yo
 u and switched on\, as the repairer may need to speak to you about your it
 em.  After repair\, or if your item cannot be repaired\, we will ‘phon
 e you\, so you can collect it from the hall.\n\n\n\nItems must be collecte
 d by 12.30pm as we need to clear up the hall by 1pm.\n\n\n\nSouth Hereford
  Repair Café does not charge a fee for either repairs or refreshments\, b
 ut you can leave a donation towards our running costs which we will gratef
 ully accept.\n\nBefore booking a slot we ask you to read our Terms and Con

 lots below we can accept a maximum of 1 item per person (2 items for sharp
